Crypto trading questions, answered.
Are BTC/USD and BTC/USDT the same market? +
BTC/USD quotes Bitcoin against US dollars; BTC/USDT quotes it against Tether. Prices can differ between exchanges and products. Spot markets and perpetual futures also differ in funding, leverage and contract terms.
Is the CryptoSpike app publicly available? +
The CryptoSpike app is in preparation and is not yet available for public download. The website provides Bitcoin-focused research and educational material. App-store links will be added after the public release.
What does a crypto trading signal include? +
Every CryptoSpike signal includes: exact entry price, stop-loss level, three take-profit targets (TP1, TP2, TP3), suggested position size based on 1% risk, and the trade direction (LONG or SHORT). After entry, we send live management updates — SL adjustments, partial close instructions, and "move to breakeven" alerts.
What moves crypto prices? +
Bitcoin and other cryptoassets respond to liquidity, demand, regulation, exchange flows, network developments and derivatives positioning. The quote currency, exchange and product matter when comparing charts or trade levels.
How much capital do I need to trade crypto? +
The amount of capital needed depends on the product, minimum position size, margin requirement and chosen stop distance. Calculate cash exposure from the actual contract specification and account currency. There is no universal starting balance that suits every broker or trading plan.
Which exchange should I use for crypto trading? +
CryptoSpike signals work with any major exchange. Popular choices: Binance (lowest fees, deepest liquidity), Bybit (best for derivatives and copy trading), Kraken (US-friendly, strong compliance), and Coinbase (simplest onboarding). Key factors: spread, withdrawal fees, available pairs, and regulatory status in your jurisdiction. We recommend using at least two exchanges for redundancy.
When is the best time to trade crypto? +
Crypto markets are open 24/7, but volume concentrates in specific windows. The London-New York overlap (12:00–16:00 UTC) produces the highest volume and tightest spreads. The Asian session (00:00–07:00 UTC) often sets direction for altcoins. Weekends typically see lower volume with wider spreads — good for swing entries, bad for scalping. Major economic events (FOMC, CPI) at 13:30 UTC create the largest intraday moves.
Is crypto trading risky? +
Crypto prices can move sharply at any time, including weekends. Leverage, liquidation rules, funding costs and exchange-specific pricing change the risk of a position. A spot price alert is not the same product as a leveraged futures signal.
